In House Counsel

We are looking for a dedicated In-House Counsel to join our team in Orlando, Florida. This role requires expertise in commercial construction law and a proactive approach to legal matters. The ideal candidate will excel in managing complex litigation, contract negotiations, and compliance while fostering collaboration across departments. Great office culture 100% in office. Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and guidance on corporate and commercial construction matters.

• Manage and resolve disputes related to litigation, liens, and bond claims.

• Review and ensure adherence to Federal Acquisition Regulation clauses.

• Support field operations by addressing legal concerns and implementing risk mitigation strategies.

• Draft, negotiate, and review various commercial contracts to align with business objectives.

• Ensure organizational compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.

• Collaborate closely with departments such as operations, finance, and compliance to address legal needs effectively.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Florida or eligible for in-house counsel registration.
• Minimum of 5 years of legal experience in corporate and commercial construction law.
• Proven expertise in litigation, dispute resolution, lien, and bond claims.
• Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation clauses and compliance.
• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
