We are looking for an organized and proactive Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in Riverside, California. This part-time role involves working on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and offers a long-term contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting HR functions, ensuring compliance with policies, and maintaining accurate records.Responsibilities:• Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees in alignment with company policies and procedures.• Maintain accurate documentation of employee requests and approvals for paid time off.• Advise managers and employees on labor-related matters to ensure adherence to legal requirements and organizational guidelines.• Perform extensive data entry and workforce tracking tasks utilizing advanced Microsoft Excel functions.• Collaborate with management and staff to address HR-related inquiries and concerns.• Ensure compliance with employment laws and HR best practices in all processes.• Prepare and update workforce reports and HR documentation as needed.• Support other HR-related administrative tasks to enhance department efficiency.• Previous experience in HR administration or a related field is preferred.• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and functions, is essential.• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with employees and management.• Familiarity with employment laws and HR best practices.• Experience with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) is a plus.• Knowledge of onboarding processes and employee relations.• Capability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
