Human Resources (HR) Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated and bilingual Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to join our team in Sugar Land, Texas. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to support the recruiting team and contribute to essential HR functions. Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage onboarding activities, including drug screenings, background checks, and tracking results in spreadsheets.

• Assist with scheduling interviews and setting up online assessments, ensuring timely follow-up and documentation.

• Maintain and update spreadsheets to track recruitment and assessment data.

• Conduct candidate interviews and support the selection process.

• Monitor and process results from online assessments and other pre-employment evaluations.

• Utilize HR systems to manage and maintain employee records and recruitment data.

• Provide employee relations support by addressing inquiries and assisting with HR processes.

• Collaborate with the recruiting team to ensure efficient workflow and communication.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during all HR activities.

• Proficiency in Human Resources administration and related processes.
• Experience with HRIS systems to manage employee records and data.
• Strong skills in onboarding procedures, including background checks and drug screenings.
• Ability to communicate fluently in both English and Spanish.
• Familiarity with basic Excel functions to manage spreadsheets and track data.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Previous experience in employee relations and recruitment support.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain confidentiality.
