We are looking for an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join our team in Jackson, Mississippi. In this role, you will oversee financial reporting processes while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This position offers an opportunity to lead critical financial operations and play a key role in shaping the organization's financial integrity.

Responsibilities:
• Manage the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting processes, including reconciliation of accounts and general ledger maintenance.
• Analyze financial statements to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with statutory accounting principles and regulatory requirements in all financial reporting activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve reporting efficiency.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance on financial statement preparation and general accounting functions.
• Lead the implementation or optimization of general ledger systems to enhance reporting capabilities.
• Develop and enforce internal controls to maintain the integrity of financial data and reporting.
• Prepare detailed reports for senior management and stakeholders, offering insights into financial performance and forecasts.
• Monitor changes in accounting regulations to ensure timely updates to reporting practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification required.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting or general accounting roles.

• Advanced knowledge of US GAAP and statutory accounting principles.

• Proven expertise in preparing and analyzing consolidated financial statements.

• Hands-on experience with general ledger systems and full-cycle accounting processes.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

• Excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage reporting teams and processes.

• Proficiency in financial reporting tools and software.
