Great company in the Bartlett area has an immediate need for a Human Resources Generalist to provide HR support in a range of services to employees and management including recruitment, benefits administration, employment, compensation, employee relations, compliance, workers compensation, training, and other related areas.


• Advise managers and supervisors on HR related items such as recruiting, discipline, terminations, etc.

• Coordinate recruitment efforts, including writing and posting ads, working with employment agencies, coordinating the interviewing process and assisting hiring managers with salary recommendations

• Conduct and manage the new hire orientation process for all employees

• Support employee relations by responding to routine inquiries and assisting with issue resolution

• Manage the off-boarding process for all employees, including exit interviews

• Maintain the latest knowledge base of Human Resources legal issues and ensure the Company’s adherence to all relevant employment laws/practices

• Manage the investigative process when disciplinary action may be warranted and make appropriate recommendations to Director of Human Resources.

• Track and report HR metrics as necessary

• Assist with annual open enrollment process for benefit plan(s)

• Point of contact for all employees on benefit questions

• Coordinate employee relations programs which increase employee interaction and foster a positive community culture within the organization

• Maintain or create up-to-date job descriptions

• Back-up bi-weekly payroll, answering employee questions and perform related reporting requirements as needed

• Maintain employee files in accordance with legal requirements and company policies

• Manage and process Workers’ Compensation claims

• Assist with performance coaching needs throughout the Company

• Recommend appropriate career development and training programs for employees

• Responsible for the integrity of all data regarding the Company’s employees

• Conduct HR audit(s) as requested by Director of Human Resources

• Communicate changes in personnel policies, procedures and ensure that proper compliance is followed

• Assist management in annual reviews, preparation and administration of performance evaluation process

• Participate on committees and special projects as needed or requested

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by manager

Human Resource Generalist for this role should have:


·      Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience in the Human Resources field

·      3 years’ experience working with various roles and areas of Human Resources

·      General payroll experience helpful; ADP and/or Paychex experience preferred
