HR Generalist

We are looking for a dedicated HR Generalist to join our team in Evans City, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will oversee a variety of human resources functions, including recruitment, compliance, employee relations, and benefits administration. Responsibilities:

• Monitor and document compliance with mandatory and optional training programs and work assessments.

• Lead recruitment efforts, including screening and selecting candidates with relevant experience while collaborating with management to identify key skills and competencies.

• Conduct background checks and verify employee eligibility to ensure adherence to legal standards.

• Organize and execute new employee orientation programs and employee recognition initiatives.

• Manage day-to-day HR operations, including compensation, benefits, leave policies, disciplinary actions, workplace investigations, and employee development.

• Respond to employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, escalating sensitive issues to appropriate personnel as needed.

• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws by reviewing and updating organizational policies and practices.

• Stay informed on emerging trends, best practices, regulatory updates, and advancements in HR technologies.

• Take on additional HR-related tasks as assigned to support the organization’s goals.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and basic office software - knowledge of HR functions of Paychex a plus

Bachelor's degree or certification in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field is a plus, as is SHRM-CP

At least one year of human resource management preferred or 2 years in HR related position
