Kristin Wasson is seeking a detail-oriented, analytical professional to join a team as a Grants Analyst. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing and analyzing grant funding to ensure compliance with requirements, accurate reporting, and alignment with organizational goals. The Grants Analyst will collaborate with multiple teams, including finance, program management, and leadership, to monitor budgets, track grant activities, and optimize the use of funding resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grant Tracking and Analysis: Track and monitor grant funding allocations and expenditures to ensure compliance with stipulations, deadlines, and budgets. Provide detailed financial analysis and reporting related to grant activity.
- Budget Management: Work closely with finance and program managers to develop and adjust grant budgets as required. Ensure alignment between grant objectives and financial plans.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare regular financial and programmatic reports for internal teams and external funders. Ensure accurate recordkeeping and compliance with funding requirements and regulations.
- Compliance and Audit Support: Maintain familiarity with applicable grant guidelines and regulations. Participate in audits and ensure all documentation and activities are in line with funding policies.
- Collaboration: Act as a liaison between program teams, finance, and external funders to track milestones, address discrepancies, and resolve issues related to grants management.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline grant management workflows and improve tracking systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in finance and grants management or related roles.
- Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and private grant compliance regulations is preferred.
