About the Role
Provide functional leadership and staff management to the Finance Department supporting Accounts Payable, Budgeting and Forecasting, Financial Reporting, cost control and account receivable functions, ensuring compliance to policy, procedures and programs, government regulations, legislation and remittances.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the accounting records and financial reports.
- Post/approve journals at month end, including payroll journals and accrual.
- Approve and verify GL coding for AP invoices.
- Ability to oversee and run the entire month end process and day to day operations.
- Ensure accurate & appropriate recording of revenues and expenses.
- Ensure compliance to all policies and actively demonstrate teamwork, safe work practices, Open communication, accuracy in transactions, respect, sincerity, helpfulness, courtesy and humility.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE: Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field and 5 years of construction focused finance experience. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master’s degree in the above-listed fields and 2 years of finance experience. Full term of experience must include: Strong financial planning and analysis skills; construction accounting knowledge; experience developing forecasts and operating plans; ability to quickly identify subtle patterns among issues; ability to establish and implement clear and efficient processes.
