Finance Manager

Robert Half Management Resources is seeking a highly experienced Finance Manager to join one of our business consulting firms on an interim basis. This short-term engagement, lasting 2–3-months, offers a fully remote work environment and requires close collaboration with strategic business units to deliver advanced financial analysis and actionable insights. Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain detailed financial models and forecasts for a diverse portfolio of clients.

• Develop and refine compensation plans, including benchmarking, scenario modeling, and incentive structures.

• Perform in-depth margin and cost analyses, such as gross margin evaluation, overhead benchmarking, and breakeven assessments related to debt obligations.

• Conduct marketing and customer analytics to assess return on marketing investments, customer acquisition costs, and conversion rates.

• Lead budgeting and forecasting exercises to support comprehensive annual planning processes.

• Deliver well-informed financial insights and recommendations to leadership teams to enhance business performance.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to provide strategic guidance on financial decision-making.

• Support scenario planning to evaluate potential financial outcomes and risks.

• Ensure accuracy and relevance in all financial reporting and analysis.

• Communicate findings effectively through presentations and reports tailored to client needs.

• Extensive experience in Finance, FP& A, or Strategic Consulting at a managerial level or above.

• Expertise in advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis.

• Strong ability to derive actionable insights from complex financial data.

• Demonstrated experience in compensation planning, margin analysis, and marketing analytics.

• Proficiency in advanced Excel; familiarity with Power BI or analytics tools is a plus.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work independently in a dynamic, client-facing environment.

• Proven track record of delivering results within tight deadlines.

• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
