🚀 Workday Finance Systems Lead | Global Finance Transformation
We’re hiring a Workday Finance Systems Lead to own and evolve our clients global Workday Financial Management platform. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who understands both finance and technology, can connect business goals to system capabilities, and enjoys building scalable solutions in a complex, global environment.
You’ll serve as a trusted partner to Finance and IT leadership, lead a team of Workday professionals, and drive the roadmap that enables smarter, faster, and more compliant financial operations.

What You’ll Do
- Develop deep expertise in the current Workday Financial Management landscape and its global footprint
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with Finance leaders and key stakeholders
- Translate finance business goals into actionable system strategies, identifying opportunities and risks across process and technology
- Own and present a clear Workday roadmap aligned to business priorities and secure stakeholder buy-in
- Lead requirements gathering, solution design, and delivery of Workday Financials initiatives
- Partner with program management to plan and execute upcoming initiatives
- Own functional delivery for in-flight initiatives and ensure outcomes meet business needs
- Act as a problem-solver and escalation point for Workday application issues, driving resolution with internal teams and Workday partners
- Guide configuration decisions and integration approaches across finance and corporate systems
- Oversee compliance, controls, and risk assessment related to financial systems
- Lead and develop a team of 8–10 Workday professionals (mix of internal and contract resources)
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA strongly preferred, not required)
- 3 years of accounting or finance experience and 5 years in a Workday systems/development role (e.g., Systems Administrator, Financials Lead)
- 5–10 years of experience delivering Workday Financial Management solutions in a global organization
- Hands-on experience across Workday Financials modules such as Core Financials, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Expenses, Projects, Reporting, and Adaptive Planning
- Familiarity with Workday integrations (native and middleware); Extend and Accounting Center experience a plus
- Strong understanding of finance processes, reporting needs, and challenges in complex environments
- Proven ability to develop and communicate strategic roadmaps to executive stakeholders
- Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Excellent problem-solving ability with a solution-first mindset
Salary : $150,000 - $190,000
