We are looking for an experienced Divisional/Plant Controller to join our team on a contract basis in Pendergrass, Georgia. In this role, you will oversee critical financial operations such as month-end close, cost and inventory accounting, payroll, and cash management within a manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise while supporting the team during a crucial phase.Responsibilities:• Manage month-end close processes, ensuring all financial statements and reconciliations are completed accurately and on time.• Oversee cost and inventory accounting to maintain accurate financial records and insights into production costs.• Supervise payroll operations and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.• Monitor cash management activities, including forecasting and ensuring adequate liquidity.• Provide financial reporting and analysis to support decision-making and operational efficiency.• Collaborate with different departments to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting of manufacturing costs.• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial operations and enhance accuracy.• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls in all financial activities.• Assist the team in navigating transitional periods by providing financial expertise and leadership.• Serve as a key advisor on financial matters within the plant and divisional operations.
