Data Reporting Analyst

We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst to join our client's team in Maine. In this role, you will transform complex datasets into meaningful insights and visualizations, enabling informed decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate combines technical experience with a strong understanding of data security principles to ensure the integrity and privacy of organizational data.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau.
• Write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various databases.
• Perform data cleaning, transformation, and analysis using Excel.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Monitor and ensure the security and privacy of data, adhering to internal and external compliance standards.
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to support strategic initiatives.
• Document processes, methodologies, and findings clearly and concisely.
• Support ad hoc reporting and analysis requests from stakeholders.
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 3 years of experience in data analysis or a related role.

• Experience in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.

• Skills in Python for automation and advanced data analysis would be a bonus.

• Solid knowledge of data security best practices, including compliance with relevant frameworks.

• Advanced Excel capabilities, including pivot tables and complex formulas.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
