What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Engineer position at Robert Half?
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain efficient data pipelines and workflows using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
• Optimize data transformation processes with Python and SQL for large-scale analytics.
• Design and implement scalable data solutions in Azure environments, including Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure SQL Database.
• Collaborate with teams to manage CI/CD workflows and maintain version control using GitHub.
• Utilize Terraform to automate infrastructure deployment and configuration.
• Ensure adherence to software engineering best practices in all stages of the data pipeline lifecycle.
• Perform ETL operations to extract, transform, and load data securely and efficiently.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and transformation.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and version control systems, particularly GitHub.
• Expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes and workflows.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Preferred certifications in Azure or related technologies.
