Robert Half is seeking an experienced Corporate Legal Counsel to join our team on an ongoing contract basis. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive legal support for corporate matters, commercial transactions, and civil litigation.
Pay Rate: $90 per hour
Location: Remote (Hybrid Preferred; White Plains, NY)
Duration: On-Going Contract
Hours: 15–20 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Handle corporate legal matters, including commercial transactions and small mergers & acquisitions.
- Draft and review stock purchase agreements, consulting contracts, and licensing agreements.
- Prepare and review business-related legal documents to ensure compliance.
- Conduct thorough document reviews to identify risks and ensure accuracy.
- Provide legal counsel on business and commercial law matters.
- Draft motions and briefs for civil litigation cases.
- Manage discovery processes efficiently to support litigation efforts.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to address legal concerns and provide solutions.
- Ensure all legal documentation aligns with applicable laws and regulations.
- Stay current with industry practices and legal developments.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in corporate law, commercial transactions, and civil litigation.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills for contracts and agreements.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- JD degree and active bar admission required in the State of New York.
