Company Description
The New York Auto Museum is a newly slated Museum to be located in Manhattan, designed to revolutionize the automotive Museum experience. With a modern design featuring a massive rooftop patio and partially glassed floors, visitors can see both above and beneath many of the vehicles on display. The museum allows guests to sit in up to 150 different historical vehicles at any given time, providing a unique and interactive experience.
Role Description
This is a contract remote role for a BRO-BONO Corporate Lawyer 4-6HR a month. The Corporate Lawyer will be responsible for overseeing legal aspects related to the operations of the museum. Day-to-day tasks include drafting and reviewing contracts, ensuring compliance with regulations, providing legal advice to various departments, and managing potential legal risks. Coordination with external legal counsel may also be required.
Qualifications
- Experience in Corporate Law, including contract drafting and review
BRO-BONO Corporate Lawyer 4-6HR a month
- Skills in Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage remote work efficiently
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and membership in the NY state bar
- Experience in the museum, nonprofit or automotive industry is a plus
- connections to publicly traded companies interested in putting their name on the building is highly sought after
