Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented interim Controller to lead our organization’s financial operations and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of our financial data. The ideal candidate will oversee financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, and adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). This pivotal role works to support risk mitigation efforts, align financial practices with the parent company, and provide strategic financial insights to drive business objectives.

Essential Functions

• Maintains and enforces a documented system of accounting policies and procedures to ensure financial accuracy

and compliance.

• Oversees the operations of the accounting and finance department, including designing an organizational structure

that supports departmental goals.

• Manages the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger and other financial records.

• Calculates and distributes key financial and operational metrics on a monthly and quarterly basis.

• Oversees accounts payable processes and executes cash management strategies, including managing financial

instruments such as credit lines and company credit cards.

• Manage accounts receivable to maintain consistent cash flow in support of business operations.

• Executes banking transactions and reconciles account statements on a monthly basis.

• Produces, maintains, and distributes financial reports, including updates to the chart of accounts, as required.

• Leads the development, coordination, and monitoring of the annual budget and periodic forecasts. production and

• Coordinates the preparation and delivery of required documentation to external auditors.

• Supports corporate treasury initiatives in collaboration with the parent company

• Maintains relationships with external partners, including financial institutions, insurance providers, and other third-party firms, as needed.

• Performs other duties as assigned to support financial operations and organizational goals.

Qualifications and Education

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related degree; CPA or CMA preferred.

• Minimum five years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, including leadership roles, preferably

within a manufacturing environment.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, business operations, and financial reporting

• Ability to interpret financial data to support business decision-making

• Proven ability to analyze financial data and provide strategic insights to support decision-making

• Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration and problem-solving

• Proficient in Microsoft, with advanced skills in Excel; experience with QuickBooks or similar financial software

• Effective communicator with the ability to present financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial

stakeholders.
