The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in financial management, particularly within the banking and/or Agriculture industry. Responsibilities:
• Oversee all aspects of the organization's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards within the banking sector.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, fostering a culture of accuracy and accountability.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
• Collaborate with senior management to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning.
• Monitor cash flow and manage financial risks effectively.
• Review and approve financial statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct audits and assessments to maintain financial integrity.
• Stay updated on industry developments and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
• Proven experience as a Controller or similar financial leadership role.
• Strong background in the banking and/or Agricultural industry, with knowledge of relevant regulations and practices.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in financial management software and tools.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
