We are looking for an experienced Controller Consultant to join our team in Warsaw, Indiana, on a long-term contract basis. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial operations while maintaining compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of corporate accounting processes and a collaborative approach to managing complex financial tasks. Initially, this maternity leave coverage will be part-time as the remainder of this year unfolds.Responsibilities:• Lead month-end closing procedures, including reviewing reconciliations prepared by the Assistant Controller.• Utilize BlackLine software to maintain accuracy and streamline reconciliation processes.• Oversee accounting processes for prepaids, lease accounting, intercompany clearing, and profit eliminations.• Analyze and reconcile foreign exchange rates across various entities to ensure compliance and accuracy.• Evaluate reconciliation processes to ensure a thorough understanding of their purpose and outcomes.• Verify weekly accounts payable transactions to guarantee proper invoice processing and accounting.• Prepare and maintain the equity ledger, including stock compensation grants, with precise entries in Excel trackers.• Conduct debt reconciliations and ensure alignment with accounting records.• Manage intercompany profit eliminations to maintain consistency between entities.• Collaborate with leadership for task reviews and approvals while addressing audit inquiries promptly.
