We are looking for an experienced Controller & HR Manager to join our team in Warren, Ohio. This executive role is crucial to overseeing financial operations and human resource management, ensuring both compliance and efficiency across the organization. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in strategic planning by delivering accurate financial insights and fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.


Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and the general ledger.

• Prepare detailed financial statements and management reports with accuracy and timeliness.

• Create and oversee budgets, forecasts, and cash flow analyses to support organizational planning.

• Ensure compliance with state and federal tax regulations and lead audit processes.

• Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, vendors, and auditors to support business operations.

• Administer payroll systems, benefits programs, and employee records while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Coordinate recruitment efforts, onboarding procedures, and performance evaluations to support workforce development.

• Monitor compliance with labor laws and workplace safety regulations.

• Promote a collaborative and positive company culture focused on integrity, safety, and teamwork.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with human resource practices and employment regulations.
• Proficiency in using Sage 50 or similar accounting software.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills to manage complex financial data.
• Effective communication abilities to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
• Leadership qualities and problem-solving skills to address financial and HR challenges.
• Preferred certifications such as CPA or CMA, though not mandatory.
