Contracts Manager

We are looking for a Contracts Manager to oversee procurement and contracting activities within our organization, ensuring seamless processes and compliance with industry standards. This role requires strong expertise in contract negotiations, procurement functions, and the ability to lead and develop a high-performing team. Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the entire procurement lifecycle, including purchase orders and buying processes.

• Review, negotiate, and finalize contracts to ensure favorable terms and compliance with organizational policies.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand technical requirements and align procurement strategies with business goals.

• Utilize procurement systems effectively to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

• Conduct performance assessments and provide development opportunities for team members.

• Maintain detailed records and documentation to ensure transparency and accountability in procurement operations.

• Prioritize tasks and manage deadlines to meet organizational needs and objectives.

• Foster strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to secure optimal contract terms.

• Analyze market trends and recommend strategic adjustments to procurement strategies.

• Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements throughout the contracting process.

• Proven experience in corporate procurement and contract management.
• Strong understanding of buying processes and procurement functions.
• Proficiency in contract negotiations and vendor management.
• Familiarity with procurement systems such as JobBOSS or similar tools.
• Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including developing the skills and performance of direct reports.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
