As a content designer in HR, you’ll shape our digital experiences through content, helping our 300,000 global employees navigate and use our resources to easily learn, take action, and discover more about their careers. You’ll use web writing, content design, and technical writing principles to plan, create, and structure content across our suite of digital channels (from web and mobile, to search and digital assistants) to help our employees self-service a wide variety of HR issues.
Job responsibilities:
· Create brand-new “evergreen” content that supports our various departments within Human Resources. These departments can include Career Development, Performance Development, Leaving the Company, Benefits, Compensation, and more.
· Use web writing and content design best practices to create and organize content that creates a meaningful, connected digital experience, and support employee self-service and information. You may also write content for web banners, landing pages, mobile apps, and other digital channels.
· Work as a part of a project team that includes product owners, HR project leads, change management associates, HR Communications, and others.
· Complete the editorial process from start to finish, which includes writing, editing, sending content for review, incorporating feedback from stakeholders, getting final approval, publishing content, and getting feedback from users.
· Revise or uplift currently published content when changes are needed.
· Use ServiceNow, the system that supports our educational content, to publish your approved content.
· Manage the HR Content Team’s intake by reviewing new requests and assigning them to content designers who support the various HR business lines.
· Analyze content performance metrics to identify gaps and opportunities in content and execute on those recommendations.
· Act as a subject matter expert on content best standards. Review articles from your peers for clarity, consistency, and quality.
Required skills
· 3-5 years of corporate writing experience.
· Background in English or Communications or related field.
· Experience writing content for the web.
· Experience writing educational or customer-service related content.
· Experience creating content architectures, storytelling, and drafting clear and concise content.
· Ability to multitask, prioritize, work quickly, and meet deadlines.
· Ability to create timelines and other project management documentation to support various projects.
· Values teamwork, creativity, and great digital experiences.
· Ability to contribute on both a strategic and tactical level and can navigate large organizations.
Preferred skills
· Knowledge of HTML.
· Experience using technical/content-management platforms, such as Adobe or ServiceNow, to elevate content.
· Understanding of how different systems interact with each other to create an end-to-end user journey.
· Passion for internal communications.
· Knowledge of our HR processes and procedures.
· Knowledge of how to use LLM to enhance your writing.
