Consumer Loan Servicing Specialist: II (Intermediate)

We are seeking a detail-oriented, dependable Commercial Loan Service Specialist to join our client's Commercial Loan Services team. In this role, you will support the Paid and Hazard Insurance function, ensuring accurate collateral release and effective monitoring of hazard insurance on loan collateral. You will handle a variety of collateral types, oversee internal reviews, and complete business entity searches, playing a critical role in loan documentation accuracy and compliance.

This is an onsite, 3 month contract position to help the team get caught up on a document management backlog.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze collateral documentation to ensure alignment with the credit approval system for partial releases.
• Update and maintain our AFSVision system, including adding, updating, and releasing collateral records as appropriate.
• Collaborate with business segments to track, gather, or clarify missing/insufficient documentation and loan statuses.
• Release lien positions through proper filing or recording of documents (e.g., UCC, mortgage titles).
• Monitor reports to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
• Manage incoming loan documentation workflow, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Conduct quality reviews of team output to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Mail out original loan documents as needed.
• Perform STRs (Suspicious Transaction Reports) and business entity searches.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a financial services or banking-related position.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access; ability to create and edit basic documents.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Prior customer service experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Familiarity with CLOS, AFSVision and/or Velocity systems is preferred.
• Exceptional time management and organization skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Demonstrated reliability and excellent attendance.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment while meeting quality and SLA targets.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
