Collections Specialist

Our client in Springfield, MA is seeking an experienced Collections Specialist for a contract role. In this position, you will be responsible for managing overdue accounts, resolving outstanding balances, and providing excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Contact clients via phone and email regarding past-due accounts
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes
• Record collection activities and maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve account issues
• Adhere to company collections policies and relevant regulations
• Provide timely updates and status reports on accounts

• Previous experience in collections, accounts receivable, or accounting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with accounting/ERP software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
