Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join a leading healthcare nonprofit in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role bridges finance, accounting, and data analytics, providing critical insights through advanced modeling and reporting tools. The ideal candidate will be skilled in leveraging Power BI, Excel VBA, and macros to enhance organizational decision-making and performance.

Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain detailed financial models to support organizational decision-making.
• Develop and optimize Power BI dashboards to present actionable insights.
• Conduct ad hoc reporting and analytics to address specific business needs.
• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to integrate data for improved reporting accuracy.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions, including VBA and macros, to streamline processes.
• Analyze cash flow and economic data to provide comprehensive financial forecasts.
• Design and implement data models that enhance reporting capabilities.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all business intelligence tools.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within financial and data systems.
• Support strategic initiatives by delivering data-driven recommendations.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Power BI and advanced Excel functions, including VBA and macros.
• Strong background in financial modeling and data analysis.
• Expertise in creating cash flow, economic, and data models.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Ability to perform ad hoc reporting and deliver actionable insights.
• Experience in optimizing business intelligence tools and systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
