The role combines technical expertise in data management and visualization with strong business acumen and communication skills to translate complex insights for stakeholders at every level. Job Responsibilities
- Lead end to end ETL processes, including data extraction, transformation, and loading, to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of data used for analysis.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards in Microsoft Power BI that give the leadership team clear, data driven visualizations to support decision-making.
- Use SQL and BigQuery to run complex data queries and analyses, identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities for operational and business improvements.
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to understand requirements, share insights, and support data driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Communicate technical concepts and analytical findings clearly, adjusting the message for different audiences, including executives and team members.
- Coach and mentor team members on best practices in data analysis, ETL processes, and dashboard development to build a strong, collaborative team.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- Four or more years of relevant experience in a business intelligence or data analytics role.
- Working proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and ETL processes.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn data into a business story.
- Additional certifications in business intelligence tools and systems.
- Direct experience with BigQuery or a comparable cloud data warehouse.
- Prior experience training or mentoring other analysts.
- Experience leading or overseeing business intelligence projects.
