Bookkeeper

We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team in Delaware, Ohio, on a contract basis. This role requires a strong background in accounting and hands-on expertise in QuickBooks, both desktop and online versions. Ideal candidates will have experience with the full accounting cycle and familiarity with Xero software is a plus.

Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Utilize QuickBooks (desktop and online) to maintain accurate financial records and generate reports.
• Perform full-cycle accounting tasks to ensure the financial health of the organization.
• Conduct quality control reviews of bookkeeping completed by entry-level team members to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their financial needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards and practices.
• Provide support with financial data analysis and reporting.
• Assist with system setup and optimization for new and existing clients.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions and reconciliations.
• Offer flexible scheduling options to accommodate business needs.
• Proven experience as a full-charge bookkeeper or similar accounting role.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks (desktop and online) is mandatory.
• Familiarity with Xero software is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of the full accounting cycle and related principles.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform quality control checks and ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
• Capacity to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
