Billing Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Analyst to join our team in Buffalo, New York. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will play a key role in managing billing processes and ensuring accuracy in financial operations. This role requires expertise in accounting software systems and a strong ability to analyze and resolve discrepancies efficiently.

Responsibilities:
• Process and manage billing operations within various accounting systems, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
• Utilize accounting software such as Aderant, Costpoint, and About Time to maintain records and streamline workflows.
• Monitor and reconcile accounts receivable to ensure proper documentation and payment tracking.
• Conduct audits to identify and resolve billing discrepancies, enhancing overall accuracy.
• Collaborate with financial services teams to optimize billing functions and meet organizational goals.
• Generate reports and provide insights on billing trends using tools like Microsoft Excel.
• Implement CRM tools to improve customer billing interactions and maintain data integrity.
• Support the integration and optimization of accounting systems to align with business needs.
• Maintain compliance with financial regulations and standards during all billing activities.
• Assist in improving processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Proven experience in billing functions and accounting processes.
• Proficiency in accounting software systems such as Aderant, Costpoint, and About Time.
• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable and auditing practices.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and their application in billing workflows.
• Ability to work collaboratively with financial teams and adapt to evolving processes.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards.
