Attorney/Lawyer

We are looking for a skilled Attorney/Lawyer to provide expert legal guidance to healthcare organizations in Williamsburg, Virginia. This position requires a proactive individual who can navigate complex regulatory and transactional matters, deliver effective solutions, and ensure compliance with healthcare laws and standards.

Responsibilities:
• Offer legal advice to healthcare entities on governance, licensing, and investigative matters.
• Facilitate the formation and restructuring of healthcare businesses, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations.
• Draft, negotiate, and review contracts tailored to the healthcare industry.
• Resolve disputes relating to contracts, provider payments, and healthcare transactions.
• Identify and address risks associated with fraud, abuse, and telemedicine regulations.
• Handle medical malpractice cases and provide counsel on faculty care concerns.
• Guide clients on compliance with healthcare laws and industry best practices.
• Support healthcare organizations in managing licensing and regulatory challenges.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to tackle intricate legal issues in the healthcare sector.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and prepare motions, briefs, and discovery documents.

• Must be a licensed attorney with active credentials.

• Strong background in civil litigation, particularly in the healthcare industry.

• Proven ability to draft motions, briefs, and discovery materials with precision.

• Expertise in negotiating and reviewing healthcare-related contracts.

• Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.

• Experience handling cases involving medical malpractice and provider disputes.

• Ability to conduct thorough legal research and deliver accurate findings.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to address complex legal issues.
