AP / Expense Report Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Sarasota, Florida. This contract-to-permanent position focuses on processing expense reports and managing accounts payable tasks in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. The ideal candidate thrives in high-volume settings, demonstrates strong organizational skills, and ensures compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities:
• Process expense reports with accuracy and efficiency, particularly during peak workload periods.
• Enter invoices and maintain organized records, including filing documents and creating report folders.
• Handle approximately 80–90 expense reports and 30 house routes per cycle, ensuring timely and precise data entry.
• Review submissions to confirm adherence to company policies and compliance guidelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address questions and provide operational support.
• Utilize Oracle-based software and other digital systems to manage accounts payable processes.
• Prioritize attention to detail to prevent delays or compliance issues.
• Communicate effectively across departments to facilitate smooth workflows.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment with minimal manual paperwork.
• Support the overall accounts payable function by performing additional duties as needed.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a related field.
• Proficiency in processing expense reports and managing high-volume tasks.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Familiarity with Oracle-based systems or similar software.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies accurately.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams.
• Keen attention to detail to ensure compliance and accuracy.
