Accounts Receivable

This is a 99% remote role!!!! You only have to go to the office about 2 times a year! For training-once you join the organization, to get you up to speed, you'll need to go to the office the first 2 months, 5 days a week and after that, you're remote (except for, again, about 2 times a year).

Here's the details: Chris Preble is working with a Utica client of his that is looking to hire an AR Specialist. This company has awesome benefits and great work life balance. Also, there's a lot of opportunity for growth here. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer payments while maintaining compliance with company policies.

This Accounts Receivable Specialist has these Key Responsibilities:

• Process incoming customer payments via checks, ACH, wire transfers, and credit card transactions
• Apply payments accurately to customer accounts and open invoices in the ERP system
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on past-due balances
• Communicate with customers to resolve payment discrepancies and invoice-related inquiries
• Prepare and send regular customer statements and payment reminders
• Support the month-end close process by reconciling AR accounts and preparing reporting schedules
• Collaborate with the sales, shipping, and customer service teams to address billing issues
• Assist with credit checks and credit limit reviews for new and existing customers
• Maintain up-to-date customer files and documentation to support internal controls
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline AR processes and improve collections
  

• Current and relevant AR experience.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
