We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Allston, Massachusetts. In this fully on-site role, you will be responsible for managing vital financial tasks such as collections, reconciliations, and billing functions. This is a long-term contract position with an anticipated duration of at least nine months, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to the company’s financial operations. Hours of operation are Monday- Friday 8am-4pm. Free parking is available at their office site. Responsibilities:• Manage accounts receivable processes, including collections and billing, to ensure timely and accurate handling of financial transactions.• Perform reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records and resolve discrepancies.• Utilize QuickBooks Desktop to complete daily accounts receivable tasks efficiently.• Monitor and apply cash applications to maintain up-to-date account statuses.• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless financial operations and reporting.• Address customer inquiries related to billing and payments with professionalism.• Maintain detailed and organized records of accounts receivable activities.• Identify and implement improvements to streamline accounts receivable procedures.• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.• Provide support during audits or financial reviews as needed.• Proven experience in accounts receivable processes, including collections and reconciliations.• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop for managing financial tasks.• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in financial records.• Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.• Familiarity with billing procedures and cash applications.• Organizational skills to maintain detailed records and meet deadlines.• Problem-solving abilities to address discrepancies and improve processes.
