Key Responsibilities
- Process and review invoices, expense reports, and payments with accuracy and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company processes for all accounts payable activities
- Assist with both internal and external audits by providing timely and accurate documentation
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records and support month-end and year-end close processes
- Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to address payment-related inquiries
- Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the accounts payable function
- Stay up to date with relevant accounting regulations and best practices
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in accounts payable or a related finance role
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
