Accountant

We are looking for a skilled Accountant to join our team in Birdsboro, Pennsylvania. This is a long-term contract position, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise in financial management and accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll, budgeting, and audit procedures, with a focus on maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities:

• Manage payroll operations efficiently, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

• Oversee budgeting processes, including the preparation and monitoring of financial plans.

• Conduct audits to evaluate financial records and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.

• Utilize QuickBooks to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.

• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial documentation.

• Perform bank reconciliations to verify account balances and resolve discrepancies.

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

• Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and enhance efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other financial laws.

• Provide support during financial reviews and audits, addressing queries and resolving issues.

• Proven experience with QuickBooks and ADP for payroll and accounting tasks.
