Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Northwood, Ohio. This is a Contract-to-Permanent position, ideal for an individual seeking to contribute to various financial and administrative tasks in a dynamic environment. The role involves working closely with business units to ensure accurate financial operations while supporting human resources and other office functions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate record-keeping.

• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger, maintaining proper documentation.

• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

• Generate customer invoices and handle intercompany billings using QuickBooks.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.

• A minimum of five years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
