Preference will be given to applicants currently residing in Hawaii due to the nature of the job requirementsResponsibilities:• Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice coding and check runs.• Oversee accounts receivable activities, applying payments to subledgers accurately.• Record daily cash receipts and ensure proper documentation.• Perform reconciliations for accounts and bank statements with attention to detail.• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain the integrity of the general ledger.• Handle private foundation grants and manage restrictive funds using spreadsheets.• Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with financial procedures.• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and Abila MIP for financial tasks.• Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets, leveraging formulas for data analysis.• Support a small, two-person team in achieving departmental goals.
