Your role
We are looking for a Planning Specialist to work with a large advisory team in the Cincinnati Market. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, exceptionally organized, and has a passion for helping others create sound financial plans.
This position works closely with the senior Wealth Management Advisor in charge of planning for the team. Responsibilities include:
• Engaging with clients and prospects to help them understand and articulate their financial goals with respect to retirement, education, wealth preservation, and other.
• Developing coherent and realistic financial plans that address the interrelated concerns – risk tolerance, growth requirements, time frames, investment instruments and structure, tax sensitivity, legal/regulatory considerations, etc. – involved in complex planning situations.
• Quantifying and modeling financial goals to clarify and illuminate decision points for advisor use and presentation to clients.
• Collect and input data into a range of planning software. Create reports, spreadsheets, etc. based on that data for presentation to clients.
• Proactive collaboration with team members to maintain a positive, productive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist financial advisors in preparing and updating comprehensive financial plans tailored to clients’ specific goals and needs
Analyze financial data related to clients' investment strategies, insurance coverage, retirement plans, and tax implications
Conduct research and create reports on various financial planning topics, including investment options and market trends
Collaborate closely with the team to ensure the delivery of exceptional client service and maintain accuracy in all planning deliverables
Utilize financial planning software and Microsoft Office to create and maintain client reports and presentations
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to support client planning strategies
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a financial planning role.
Licenses: Series 7 and 66 licenses required.
Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) preferred, with a focus in Finance, Financial Planning, or related field.
Certifications: CFP designation strongly preferred, or a commitment to pursuing certification.
