Bankruptcy / Corporate Restructuring Associate
Our client, a top NJ law firm is seeking a talented and motivated associate with 2–5 years of experience to join their Bankruptcy and Corporate Restructuring practice. Responsibilities include:
• Representing creditors, debtors, and other parties in interest in complex bankruptcy and restructuring matters
• Drafting pleadings, motions, and other filings in Chapter 11 cases and related proceedings
• Assisting with out-of-court restructurings, workouts, and distressed transactions
• Conducting legal research and preparing memoranda on bankruptcy and related corporate issues
• Participating in court appearances, hearings, and client meetings
• Managing case files and coordinating with clients, opposing counsel, and other professionals
Qualifications:
• 3–5 years of relevant bankruptcy and/or restructuring experience at a law firm
• Strong experience with Chapter 11 matters preferred
• Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Bar Admission:
• New Jersey bar admission is a must
• New York bar admission is also preferred

Salary : $150,000 - $180,000
