Duties
- Perform comprehensive auto body repairs including sheet metal work, and structural realignment using advanced fabrication and welding techniques.
- Repair damaged vehicle bodies to manufacturer specifications
- Replace and repair body panels, frames, bumpers, and structural components
- Use frame measuring and straightening equipment
- Work closely with estimators and management to ensure quality repairs and customer satisfaction
- Install automotive parts such as glass, trim, and components using hand tools and power tools while adhering to safety standards.
- Lift heavy vehicle components safely during repairs while maintaining proper mechanical knowledge for vehicle maintenance tasks.
Experience
- Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a collision repair environment with dealership experience preferred.
- Skilled in MIG welding, fabrication repair techniques, and automotive structural repair with a strong understanding of sheet metal work.
- Knowledge of automotive parts installation, auto glass replacement
- Hands-on experience with welding repair, soldering, working with automotive welding equipment, and using power tools effectively.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with mechanic experience is highly desirable for comprehensive vehicle repairs.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during all stages of collision repair.

Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
