POSITION TITLE: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

DEPARTMENT: Radiology

REPORTS TO: Radiology Director

STATUS: Flex

RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for performing nuclear and/or radiological examinations as required by staff physicians.

QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be a graduate of an ARRT accredited school of Radiology. Must possess a current Louisiana Nuclear Medicine state license and an American Registry of Radiology Technologist license.

Desirable characteristics include two years of experience in a hospital or medically related environment.

Must be able to follow directions and perform work according to department standards when no directions are given.

Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress.
