We are seeking a Full-Time Front Desk Leader who is friendly, organized, and dedicated to providing excellent customer service to our residents, families, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be a dependable, professional individual with strong communication and leadership skills, capable of overseeing front desk operations while supporting administrative functions.
Responsibilities
- Warmly and efficiently greet all visitors, residents, and family members.
- Assist residents and guests with respect, patience, and dignity.
- Answer all incoming and internal telephone calls in a professional and pleasant manner.
- Maintain and update the Front Desk Manual; complete filing requirements as needed.
- Collect payments and issue receipts for rent, dining meals, stamps, and other ancillary services.
- Handle correspondence and provide clerical support to administration and department heads.
- Perform specific assignments as requested by the supervisor, including:
- Ordering supplies
- Assisting with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
- Maintaining resident and employee files
- Preparing bank deposits
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding for all departments, including scheduling interviews and supporting the hiring process.
- Type and update menus as needed.
- Serve as a leader at the front desk, ensuring smooth daily operations and exceptional customer service.
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications.
- Strong computer literacy with experience in office management software.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Previous clerical or receptionist experience preferred, particularly in dental, medical, or senior living settings.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Familiarity with phone etiquette and multi-line phone systems.
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple responsibilities in a busy environment.
- Experience as a personal assistant or in administrative roles is a plus.
Qualifications
- Full-time availability required.
- Prior experience in a customer service or front desk leadership role required.
- Experience with hiring and onboarding preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
