Role Description
This is a seasonal full-time, on-site role for an Aquatics Director, located in Cinnaminson, NJ. The Aquatics Director will manage the day-to-day operations of the aquatic programs, ensuring the safety of guests and staff at the pool and aquatic facilities. Responsibilities include scheduling and supervising lifeguards, providing swim instruction, designing and implementing swim programs, and maintaining compliance with safety and health standards. The Aquatics Director will also organize swim lessons, evaluate program offerings, and collaborate with other departments to enhance member experiences.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Swim Instruction, Swim Lessons, and Swimming
- Experience in Lifeguarding and Aquatics program management
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Current certifications in lifeguarding, CPR, and first aid (or the ability to acquire them)
- Excellent communication and team coordination abilities
- Experience managing aquatic facilities is a plus
- Ability to design and implement engaging swim programs for varied age groups
