Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival and check them in/out with professionalism and courtesy
- Manage multi-line phone systems, handle guest inquiries, and provide accurate information about hotel services and amenities
- Assist guests with reservations, cancellations, and modifications using hotel management software
- Handle guest requests promptly, including room changes, special accommodations, and concierge services
- Conduct night audits when required, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and reports are prepared
- Maintain guest relations by addressing concerns and resolving issues efficiently to ensure a positive experience
- Uphold phone etiquette standards and ensure clear communication at all times
- Support other front desk functions such as scheduling, billing, and coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance teams
- Ensure the front desk area remains organized, clean, and welcoming at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs gracefully
- Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are highly desirable to assist international guests effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette and professional demeanor
- Ability to operate multi-line phone systems efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of hotel management software and reservation systems is preferred
- Familiarity with guest relations strategies to enhance overall guest satisfaction
- Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts if necessary, in a resort or hotel setting
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping and reporting
