Position Overview
The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager supports the Food & Beverage Manager in overseeing dining staff, bar operations, and club event execution. This position manages F&B outlets in the absence of the F&B Manager and plays a key role in training, inventory, and member satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain a significant floor presence to ensure member satisfaction and employee productivity; handle member inquiries, concerns, and implement service improvement ideas.
Manage all food and beverage outlets in the absence of the F&B Manager, including beverage carts, snack bar, pool service area, and indoor and outdoor dining areas.
Assist with ongoing staff training, including pre-shift meetings, live training, and training videos.
Assist with ordering and inventory control of liquor, wine, and beer.
Actively participate in the planning and execution of Riverside special events.
Assist in creating revenue-generating F&B programs by identifying sales opportunities through marketing, promotions, and special events.
Adhere to all safety, sanitation, food preparation, food storage, and alcohol beverage control policies.
Qualifications
2-4 years of progressive responsibility in the food and beverage industry required.
Skill in resolving customer issues and delivering excellent customer service.
ServSafe certification required within 90 days of employment.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Solid time management, organization, and prioritization skills.
Flexible schedule with the ability to work long days and non-traditional hours.
Ability to make sound decisions quickly.
Valid driver's license required.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Occasional lifting of up to 35 lbs.
