As a global leader in stamped metal products for the filtration industry, we rely on talented, service-oriented individuals to keep our operations running safely and efficiently. We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Laser Operator to support electrical systems critical to our production environment. This role plays a key part in equipment reliability, safety, and continuous improvement across our facility.
CNC Laser Operators are responsible for operation of laser cutting machines and produce products meeting customer quality requirements. Operators must also operate and process parts according to print and traverser requirements. Operators must monitor machine cutting performance and utilization.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, First Shift (must be willing to work additional hours as needed)
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Understands start-up and shut down for laser machines.
- Operate overhead cranes
- Use of hand tools
- Print reading, shop mathematics and ability to read a micrometer, caliper and tape measure required.
- Can perform laser cutting operations efficiently and effectively, per specifications.
- Check Quality of product machined and notify supervisor of process issues.
- Operates and navigates in a windows-based computer environment.
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Perform operator maintenance and housekeeping per established schedules
- Observe levels of assist gasses and change tanks as required.
- Follows specific instructions, safe practices and company policies.
- Functions in metalworking environment (tolerate dust, temperature, etc.).
- Wears PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, mask, steel-toe boots, etc.
- Uphold all ISO and OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above
- Operate fork lift
- Other duties as assigned
Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
