Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Checkout
- Greet customers warmly and assist them during checkout
- Process transactions accurately (cash, card, digital payments)
- Provide receipts and ensure a smooth and efficient checkout experience
- Address basic customer inquiries and concerns professionally
Cash Handling & Accuracy
- Handle cash and payments with high accuracy
- Maintain and balance the cash register at the start and end of shifts
- Follow company procedures for billing, refunds, and exchanges
Store Support
- Assist customers with product-related questions when needed
- Support sales associates during busy hours
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate transaction records
- Report discrepancies or issues to management
- Follow company policies and security procedures
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic numerical and cash-handling abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer knowledge (POS systems, MS Office)
- Friendly, patient, and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience is a plus (freshers welcome)
