Bathroom Installer
River Valley Remodelers is hiring an experienced Bathroom Installer to join our residential remodeling team.
We’re looking for a skilled, dependable installer with hands-on experience completing bathroom remodeling projects. The right candidate takes pride in quality craftsmanship, understands the importance of proper installation and finishing, and is comfortable working in customers’ homes.
This is a hands-on position for someone who can complete bathroom installations efficiently while maintaining our standards for workmanship, safety, cleanliness, and customer service.
What You'll Do
- Complete residential bathroom remodeling and installation projects
- Remove existing tubs, showers, vanities, flooring, fixtures, and other bathroom materials
- Install tubs, shower bases, shower surrounds, wall systems, and related components
- Install vanities, countertops, mirrors, hardware, and bathroom accessories
- Install bathroom flooring, trim, baseboards, and finish materials
- Perform minor framing and carpentry necessary for bathroom installations
- Prepare walls, floors, and openings for proper installation
- Install backing, blocking, and other structural support as needed
- Complete caulking, sealing, trim, and finish work to provide a clean, professional finished product
- Identify and address jobsite conditions that may affect installation
- Review project scopes, measurements, materials, and installation requirements before and throughout each project
- Ensure installations meet River Valley Remodelers' quality standards and manufacturer specifications
- Protect customers' homes and property throughout the remodeling process
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
- Properly use and maintain company tools and equipment
- Follow required safety procedures and installation practices
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with homeowners
- Communicate jobsite concerns, material needs, or project changes to management
- Complete final cleanup and ensure projects are ready for customer walkthrough and closeout
- Work independently and alongside other members of the installation team as needed
What We're Looking For
- Professional experience in bathroom remodeling, residential remodeling, carpentry, or a related trade
- Hands-on experience installing tubs, showers, surrounds, vanities, flooring, and bathroom finish materials
- Strong working knowledge of residential construction and remodeling practices
- Experience with demolition, framing, trim, finish carpentry, caulking, and sealing
- Ability to accurately read measurements, project specifications, and job scopes
- Ability to safely and properly use common construction tools and equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address installation challenges in the field
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining installation quality
- Professional communication skills when working in customers' homes
- Dependable, punctual, organized, and accountable
- Ability to perform the physical requirements associated with residential bathroom remodeling
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
