River Valley Remodelers is hiring an experienced Window & Door Installer to join our residential installation team.

We’re looking for a skilled, dependable installer with hands-on experience removing and installing residential windows and exterior doors. The right candidate takes pride in quality craftsmanship, understands proper installation techniques, and is comfortable working in customers’ homes.

This is a hands-on position for someone who can complete window and door installations efficiently while maintaining our standards for workmanship, safety, cleanliness, and customer service.

What You'll Do

• Remove and install residential replacement windows
• Remove and install exterior entry doors, patio doors, and sliding doors
• Properly measure, level, square, shim, fasten, insulate, and seal windows and doors
• Install interior and exterior trim, casing, flashing, and related finish materials
• Perform minor framing and carpentry necessary for proper window and door installation
• Identify and address installation issues, including damaged framing, improper openings, water intrusion concerns, and other jobsite conditions
• Review project scopes, measurements, materials, and installation requirements
• Ensure installations meet River Valley Remodelers' quality standards and manufacturer specifications
• Protect customers' homes and property throughout the installation process
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
• Properly use and maintain company tools and equipment
• Follow required safety procedures and installation practices
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with homeowners
• Communicate jobsite concerns, material needs, or project changes to management
• Complete final cleanup and ensure projects are ready for customer walkthrough and closeout
• Work independently and alongside other members of the installation team as needed

What We're Looking For

• Professional experience installing residential windows and/or doors
• Strong knowledge of replacement window and exterior door installation
• Experience with entry doors, patio doors, and sliding doors preferred
• Working knowledge of framing, trim, flashing, insulation, caulking, and finish carpentry
• Ability to accurately read measurements, project specifications, and job scopes
• Ability to safely and properly use common construction tools and equipment
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address installation challenges in the field
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining installation quality
• Professional communication skills when working in customers' homes
• Dependable, punctual, organized, and accountable
• Ability to perform the physical requirements associated with residential window and door installation
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

The right installer understands that replacing a window or door involves more than simply fitting a new unit into an opening. Proper measurements, flashing, insulation, sealing, trim work, and finishing are all critical to delivering a quality installation.

You should be comfortable working in customers' homes, solving problems in the field, maintaining a professional jobsite, and taking ownership of the quality of your work.
