The Position: Veterinary Assistant (Full-Time)
We’re seeking enthusiastic, detail-oriented professionals for late evening shifts with at least one weekend shift per week required. Whether you’re an experienced technician or newer to the field (1 year experience required) with a willingness to learn, you’ll find your place here.
What You’ll Do:
- Gather patient history and assist veterinarians during exams.
- Educate pet owners and guide them through treatment plans.
- Triage urgent cases with calm efficiency.
- Provide care for hospitalized and post-surgical patients.
- Perform radiology, phlebotomy, and other lab work.
- Fill prescriptions and maintain accurate medical records.
- Help keep the clinic clean, organized, and ready for the next day.
What We’re Looking For:
- Veterinary experience (at least 1 year required)
- Baseline knowledge of veterinary medical terminology.
- Bloods draws and IV catheter placement are a plus!
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Relocation to Albany, OR before starting work.
