Veterinary Receptionist (Experience Preferred)

Veterinary experience is preferred. If you do not have veterinary experience, include a cover letter describing your interest in veterinary medicine and our team. This position is heavily oriented to customer service with humans, so it is about more than loving pets.

Creekside Veterinary Clinic in Keizer, Oregon is seeking a compassionate, cheerful, level-headed, problem-solving Veterinary Receptionist. Our entire team of friendly people is dedicated to providing excellent patient care and client service. We are a busy practice and we work hard.

Creekside Veterinary Clinic is a busy small animal general practice with four veterinarians. We see dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, rodents, birds, reptiles, and most other small exotic pets you can think of!

Our clinic is open Monday-Saturday. Employees are set up on a predictable schedule, although some flexibility is required. Saturday shifts are typically on a rotation and are required.

Duties include the following and more:

• Answering multi-line phones
• Scheduling appointments
• Retrieving and creating client and patient records
• Preparing forms
• Collecting fees, making change, processing credit cards
• Greeting clients
• Following established clinic protocols and procedures
• Filling prescriptions
• Collecting lab specimens
• Maintaining computerized medical records
