Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning using appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents
• Implement proper sanitation procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met across all areas
• Manage laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing
• Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care techniques
• Use manual handling skills for heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or large items safely
• Apply janitorial and custodial experience to clean windows, surfaces, bathrooms, kitchens, and outdoor areas as needed
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively while adhering to health and safety regulations
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific needs and provide excellent customer service

Experience

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards
• Familiarity with cleaning tools, equipment, and detergents used in professional housekeeping settings
• Experience with carpet cleaning, floor maintenance, dusting, and outdoor work is preferred
• Knowledge of time management techniques to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with physical stamina
• Previous housekeeping management or supervisory experience is a plus but not required
• Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration
